Just Rifles has been a lifeline for a very close friend of mine, offering care, support, and community when it was needed most. Seeing the difference they make to veterans and their families has inspired me deeply.

Spread a Smile is equally close to my heart. As a parent of a child with additional needs, I’ve witnessed first-hand the magic they bring to children in hospital. Their ability to lift spirits and create joy in the most difficult of times is something truly extraordinary.

Bringing 120 teams together to summit every P600 mountain in the UK and Ireland simultaneously is a huge undertaking, but it feels fitting: climbing for those who face challenges every day with courage, resilience, and hope.

Spread a Smile transforms the hospital experience for seriously ill children and their families. Through entertainers, therapy dogs, art, music, and special visits, they bring moments of laughter and joy into some of the toughest and most frightening times a child can face.

For children undergoing long and difficult treatments, these visits provide a vital escape, a chance to smile, to laugh, and to feel like a child again. For families, it is a reminder that they are not alone, and that joy and hope can exist even in the hardest moments.
